Properties and Use

RVC can supply you with paper and plastic valve bags. A valve bag is a flat bag equipped with a special valve, either on the inside or on the outside, that facilitates filling the bag. This valve is usually located under the taped top of the bag. During the filling process, the product is guided into the bag through the valve. Once the bag is full, the pressure of the product causes the valve to close, making the bag self-sealing. This mechanism contributes to a dust-free and safe working environment and ensures a streamlined packaging process.

The applications of valve bags are wide and diverse. They are commonly used for packaging cement, mortars, fertilizers, animal feed, seeds, and many other powdered and granular products. The bags are designed to protect the contents from moisture, dirt and other external factors, which extends the shelf life of the product.

Filling process

The bags are filled through the valve located under the taped top. When the bag is filled, the product pushes the valve closed so that the bag is self-closing.
